Guide for Business

Launchpad (Business)

Overview

After issuing a Store Token, you can run a Launchpad - a token sale that allows users to commit USDT in exchange for your token before it is listed for trading. The Launchpad is the primary mechanism for your community to participate in your store's token economics from day one.

Where Does the Launchpad Appear?

The Launchpad is displayed as part of your store's Space page on Starzip - the dedicated hub for your store within the platform. Users discover and participate in your Launchpad directly from your store's Space.

Launchpad Configuration

Set the following parameters when creating your Launchpad from the Console:

ParameterDescription
Sale GoalThe target USDT amount to raise. Determined during Token Issuance and applied to the Launchpad as configured.
Sale PeriodThe start and end dates of the Launchpad sale window.
Vesting ScheduleThe schedule by which locked tokens are gradually released and become available for trading.
Per-Participant CapAn optional maximum amount any single participant can commit. Set by the business owner to limit concentration.

Pre-Registration Gauge

Before your Launchpad opens, users can pre-register their intent to participate without committing funds. This gives you a read on expected demand before the sale window starts.

If pre-registration comes in below 50% of the Soft Cap (that is, below 10% of the sale goal), the Launchpad is cancelled automatically three days before it would have opened. Indicated interest is not a commitment and does not reserve an allocation.

Soft Cap

The Soft Cap is the minimum funding threshold the Launchpad must reach for the sale to proceed. On Starzip, the Soft Cap is set at 20% of the sale goal.

If the Soft Cap is not reached by the end of the sale period, the Launchpad is automatically cancelled and all committed funds become refundable in full for participants to claim.

Launchpad Lifecycle

  1. Configure and submit the Launchpad from Console. The Launchpad is published to your store's Space page.
  2. Users commit USDT during the sale period. Monitor the funding progress in real time from your Console dashboard.
  3. If the Soft Cap (20% of goal) is reached: the Launchpad proceeds. If not reached by the end date: the Launchpad is cancelled and all committed funds become refundable for participants to claim.
  4. Confirm the listing in Console within 7 days of the sale closing. Reaching the Soft Cap is a condition for listing, not an instruction to list: nothing is listed until you confirm it in the Console.
  5. Once you confirm, tokens are distributed to participants according to the vesting schedule and the Store Token is listed on the Starzip DEX for open trading.
  6. If you do not confirm listing within the period, all committed funds become refundable in full for participants to claim and no tokens are distributed.

Confirming the Listing

Reaching the Soft Cap is a condition for listing, not the act that lists your token. After the sale closes, Starzip asks you to confirm the listing in Console. Confirming is your decision and your act as the issuer of your token, and we record who confirmed, when, and what was confirmed.

  • The confirmation period is 7 days from the close of the sale. The deadline is fixed by the system and cannot be extended.
  • If you do not confirm within the period, the sale is unwound and all committed funds become refundable in full for participants to claim. No response counts the same as not confirming.
  • You can also indicate in Console, before the deadline, that you do not intend to proceed. This does not bring the refund forward or shorten the period, and you may withdraw the indication or confirm the listing at any time before the deadline.
  • Admission to trading also requires that you and your token meet the eligibility requirements published in Console. Starzip checks those requirements and does not judge your revenue, your prospects, or the likely demand for your token. If a requirement is not met, we tell you which one so you can resolve it and ask again within the same 7-day period. Resolving a requirement does not extend the period, and the clock keeps running while you work on it.
If the listing has not opened by the end of the 7-day period, for any reason - you did not confirm, or a requirement was not resolved in time - the entire sale becomes refundable for participants to claim. That is the single point at which it happens. Watch for the confirmation notice when your sale closes.

Launchpad Fee

Starzip charges a platform fee of 5% on the total funds raised through the Launchpad sale. This fee is part of a larger up-front deduction described under Fund Settlement below.

FeeRateApplied to
Platform Fee5%Total funds raised

Fund Settlement & Withdrawal

From the funds raised, Starzip deducts 8% up front - a 5% platform fee plus 3% in liquidity funds used to provide initial liquidity on the order book. The business owner's withdrawals are calculated on the remaining 92%. The deduction is taken once the listing is confirmed, and it is completed before trading opens - not when the sale closes. If the listing never opens, nothing is deducted and every participant can claim their committed funds in full.

  1. At listing, 20% of the settled amount is transferred to the business owner immediately.
  2. Thereafter, up to 20% can be withdrawn each quarter (every 3 months). The total number of release windows follows the withdrawal policy published in the Console.
  3. Each withdrawal requires a published statement of intended use. Anyone may challenge it on the facts, and an independent dispute-resolution protocol decides, not a holder vote. Without reporting, the next release is paused until you submit.

Participation Rules

  • There is no whitelist - eligibility is handled through the Starzip membership system.
  • The business owner can set a per-participant purchase cap to limit concentration by any single buyer.
  • The Launchpad is first-come, first-served. Commitments beyond the available allocation are refunded.
  • The token supply has a minimum of 10,000,000 tokens, configured during Token Issuance.

Monitoring from Console

During and after the sale, the Console provides the following information:

  • Total USDT committed and remaining time.
  • Progress toward the Soft Cap and sale goal.
  • Participant count.
  • Token distribution status after the sale closes.
  • Settlement amounts in USDT (after fee deduction).

Store Tokens and STAR are utility tokens. They are not securities, equity, or investment contracts, and they confer no ownership, dividends, revenue share, or guaranteed returns.
