Membership

Overview

Starzip Membership is the account layer shared by everything on the platform. One membership signs you in to the DEX, to store spaces, and, if you register a business, to the Starzip Console. You create it once and it carries your identity, your security settings, and your preferences across every surface.

If you have not created a membership yet, start with Login / Sign Up. Connecting a wallet is a separate step covered in Connect Wallet.

What Membership Gives You

A single sign-in for the DEX, store spaces, and the Console.
Security settings in one place: password, passkeys, two-factor authentication, and linked social accounts.
Your holdings and activity across stores, visible in one portfolio view rather than store by store.
Eligibility for store benefits attached to the Store Tokens you hold.
Access to the membership reward programme, including referrals.

Membership itself is free. There is no subscription and no fee to hold a membership.

One Account, Several Roles

Starzip separates what you can do by role. You pick a role when you sign up, and you can hold more than one. Each role has its own terms and its own surface.

Identity verification requirements differ by role. Individual users are not asked to complete KYC to trade. Businesses and partners are verified as part of review.

Store Benefits

Holding a Store Token can make you eligible for benefits at that store, such as member pricing, early access to events, or holder-only community access.

Holding a token is not a contract for any particular benefit.
Benefits are a store utility, not a financial return. They confer no ownership of the business and no share of its revenue.
Holders can raise their views with a store, but Store Tokens carry no vote over how the store is run.

Store benefits depend on the store continuing to operate. If a store closes, its benefits stop. See Risk Factors.

Rewards and Referrals

The membership programme rewards activity on the platform, including a referral scheme where both the referrer and the person referred receive a reward. Rewards cannot be claimed twice for the same referral.

Reward types, current rates, and any seasonal programme are shown inside the membership app, because they change more often than this documentation does. Check there for the values in effect.

Reward points are a platform loyalty mechanism. They are not a currency, they are not redeemable for cash, and no conversion rate to any token is promised. Where a future conversion is offered, its terms will be published before it opens.

Account Settings

Profile. Display name and avatar.
Security. Password, passkeys, two-factor authentication, and active sessions.
Linked accounts. Telegram, Discord, and X can each be linked to one membership.
Notifications. Choose which service notices you receive and how. Marketing messages are separate and off by default.
Language. Set the display language. English is the authoritative language for legal documents.
Account deletion. Deleting your account locks it immediately and signs you out. You can restore it within 30 days.

Withdraw any balances before deleting. Deletion does not move assets out of your wallet. After 30 days the account can no longer be restored.
