Guide for Business

Listing Requirements

Overview

This page is the published list of listing requirements. When a Launchpad sale closes and you confirm the listing, the requirements below are checked. Listing is decided by this list alone - nothing outside it is used to hold a listing back.

The requirements below are not new conditions. Each one was already confirmed at an earlier step - store registration or token issuance - and is checked again at listing only to confirm it is still valid.

Before the Requirement Check

Three things decide whether the requirement check happens at all. They are not requirements you satisfy - they are the state the sale ends in.

  • The sale reached at least 20% of its sale target. Below that, the sale does not proceed and all payments are returned in full.
  • You confirmed the listing. Listing runs only on your explicit confirmation - it never happens automatically.
  • The confirmation arrived within 7 days of the sale closing. After 7 days the sale returns all payments in full, whether you declined or simply did not respond.

The Requirements

#RequirementHow it is checked
L1Identity verification (KYC) is still validCompletion status
L2Business information check is still validCompletion status
L3The store is not in a restricted jurisdictionChecked against the published list
L4Token parameters are within the permitted rangeRange check
L1 and L2 are checked again because verification documents can expire and business status can change during a sale. L3 is the only requirement that can stop being met without you doing anything - the restricted jurisdiction list itself can change while a sale is running. The current list is published on the Restricted Jurisdictions page.

What Is Not Checked

The following are never used to decide a listing:

  • Business performance - revenue, expected demand, how well the sale did, or any judgement that a store is not a good fit.
  • Token image and ticker symbol. Both are checked when you submit the token for issuance, and the image is frozen on-chain when the token is minted. Listing comes after that, so there is nothing left to check. Changing the image after issuance requires a re-review at the issuance level, and it is checked there.
  • Design quality, tone, or whether the industry suits the platform.
  • Fund distribution rules. These are identical for every token and read-only, so they are not something a business owner can satisfy or fail.

If a Requirement Is Not Met

The console shows which requirement is unmet, by name. You are never told only that something failed.

  • The 7-day clock keeps running. Resolving the requirement within that window opens the listing.
  • If it is not resolved before the 7 days end, all payments are returned to buyers in full, with no deduction.
  • An unmet requirement is not a separate outcome - it becomes a returned sale only by way of the 7-day clock running out.
Requirements can be satisfied, so this is not an end state. Once resolved, the listing proceeds.

Changes to This List

If this list changes, the new version applies to sales that start after the change. It is not applied retroactively to a sale already running.

Store Tokens and STAR are utility tokens. They are not securities, equity, or investment contracts, and they confer no ownership, dividends, revenue share, or guaranteed returns.
