About Starzip

Fees

Overview

Starzip charges a fee on trading. Participating in a Launchpad costs you nothing: the Launchpad platform fee is deducted from the funds raised and is paid by the issuing business, not by participants. Deposit and withdrawal carry no additional platform fee beyond network gas. This page describes every fee type and who pays it.

Fee Schedule

All fees are charged in the quote currency (USDT or USDC).

Trading Fees

Starzip uses a maker/taker fee model. Taker orders - those that fill immediately against the order book - are charged 0.15%. Maker orders - those that rest on the book and add liquidity - are charged 0.03%. The fee is deducted at execution and settled in the quote currency (USDT or USDC).

Fee rates may change as the market matures. Any change is announced in advance through official channels, and the current rates are always published here and in the app.

Launchpad Fee

There is no Launchpad fee for participants. Committing funds to a Launchpad sale costs you nothing beyond the amount you commit and the network gas for the transaction.

The 5% Launchpad platform fee is charged to the issuing business, not to you. It is one part of the 8% that Starzip deducts up front from the total funds raised (a 5% platform fee plus 3% in liquidity funds for order-book liquidity). Because the deduction applies to the raised amount, the tokens you receive for your commitment are not reduced by it.

If a Launchpad is cancelled because the soft cap is not reached, or because the issuer does not confirm listing, your committed funds become refundable in full and you claim them directly from the escrow contract.

Gas Fees

Starzip operates on opBNB, a Layer 2 network built on BNB Chain. All on-chain transactions require gas fees paid in BNB.

  • Regular users pay gas fees in BNB for all on-chain actions, including deposit, withdrawal, and trade settlement.
  • Business accounts on the Starzip Console do not pay gas - Starzip sponsors gas on their behalf, so their on-chain actions carry zero gas cost.
  • opBNB is a low-cost network; gas fees are significantly lower than those on Ethereum mainnet.
Business accounts on the Console pay zero gas - Starzip sponsors it on their behalf.

Deposit & Withdrawal

Starzip does not charge a platform fee for deposits or withdrawals. To start trading, users deposit funds into a settlement contract. When finished, funds can be withdrawn back to your connected wallet at any time.

  • Deposit - Transfer funds from your wallet to the Starzip settlement contract. Network gas applies.
  • Withdrawal - Transfer your balance from the settlement contract back to your wallet. Network gas applies.
  • No additional platform fee is charged for either deposit or withdrawal.
