Restricted Jurisdictions
Overview
Starzip is not available everywhere. Access to the DEX, the Launchpad, the Console, and Star Genesis is restricted for residents of, and persons located in, the places listed below.
If you are located in a restricted place, you may not use Starzip, register a store, issue a token, participate in a Launchpad, or acquire a Star Genesis NFT. This applies whether you act for yourself or on behalf of a business.

Japan and Vietnam are not restricted.
Why These Restrictions Exist
- Sanctions. Several of the locations above are subject to international sanctions programmes that prohibit providing this kind of service.
- Securities law. Starzip restricts the United States because of the risk that a Store Token or a Star Genesis NFT would be treated as a security there.
- Licensing. In the European Union and Taiwan, providing this kind of service without local authorisation is already unlawful, and the requirement is not waived for business customers.
- Financial promotion rules. In the United Kingdom, the rules covering how a service like this may be promoted - including referral and sign-up bonuses - also apply to firms based outside the country.
- Company policy. Some places are restricted as a business decision rather than because of a specific legal requirement. China (mainland) is restricted on that basis.
Restrictions can change as licensing progresses or as regulations change. The list on this page is the list currently in effect.
How Restrictions Are Applied
- Access from a restricted location is blocked at the network level.
- You confirm that you are not located in, and are not a resident of, a restricted location when you create an account and accept the Terms of Service.
- Using a VPN, proxy, or any other means to disguise your location in order to reach Starzip is a breach of the Terms of Service and can result in account suspension.
- Additional country-level limits may apply to Launchpad participation for a specific sale. Where they do, they are shown on that sale page before you commit funds.
Travel and Relocation
If you travel to a restricted location, you will not be able to access Starzip while you are there. Your account and balances are unaffected by travel, and access resumes when you return to a place where Starzip is available.
If you move permanently to a restricted location, you should withdraw your balances before you relocate. Contact support if you need help doing so.
