Guide for Business

Token Issuance

Overview

Once your store registration passes the requirement check, you can issue a Store Token - a utility token tied to your business on the Starzip platform. The issuance process guides you through setting a sale target, configuring the token supply and details, and submitting it for the requirement check before the token is minted.

Prerequisites

  • Store registration requirement check complete.
  • Store representative image uploaded - this image will be locked as the token ticker image after minting.

Issuance Flow

  1. Enter the sale target - the target amount (USDT) you aim to raise through the Launchpad sale.
  2. Set the total token supply. The minimum is 10,000,000 tokens, entered in defined increments (thousands / ten-thousands) - arbitrary values are not allowed.
  3. Configure token details - name, ticker symbol, and token image.
  4. Submit for the requirement check. The proposed token economics are checked against the published requirements before minting proceeds.
  5. Once the requirement check is complete, the token is minted on opBNB.

Token Economics at a Glance

ParameterValue / Rule
Sale TargetSet by business owner (USDT)
Total Token SupplyMinimum 10,000,000 tokens, in defined increments
Launchpad Sale77.95% of total supply
Liquidity Reserve2.00% of total supply (funded by the business owner)
Genesis NFT Airdrop0.05% of total supply (deducted from the sale portion)
Business Reserve20% of total supply
Reserve Vesting1-year cliff, then 12-month linear release
The Launchpad sale (77.95%) and the Genesis NFT airdrop (0.05%) together make up the 78% offered to the community - the airdrop is deducted from the sale portion. A further 2.00% is the liquidity reserve, funded by the business owner and quoted against the store's own order book after listing. The remaining 20% is the business reserve, locked for a 1-year cliff and then released monthly over the following 12 months. All percentages above are based on the total token supply before any deduction - they are separate from the up-front deduction applied to the USDT funds raised (see the Launchpad guide). These figures reflect the confirmed tokenomics policy.

Token Image (Single-Slot Policy)

Starzip uses a single-slot image model for each store. Before token issuance, the store representative image (avatar) is used to represent the business. Once the issuance requirement check is complete and the token is minted, the representative image is locked and inherited as the token ticker image. The store avatar and token ticker image are the same slot and are never displayed separately.

Choose your store representative image carefully before issuance - it cannot be changed after the token is minted.

Token Details

Configure the following during the token setup step:

  • Token Name - the full display name of your token.
  • Ticker Symbol - a short uppercase identifier (e.g., CAFE, BAKE).
  • Token Image - inherited from the store representative image (single-slot, locked at mint).

After Issuance

Once the token is minted, you can proceed to set up a Launchpad sale.

Listing is your decision. After the Launchpad sale closes successfully, Starzip asks you to confirm the listing in the Console, and the token is admitted to trading on the Starzip DEX only after you confirm. Reaching the soft cap is a condition for listing, not an instruction to list. If you do not confirm within the confirmation period shown in the Console, the sale is unwound and all committed funds become refundable in full for participants to claim.

Store Tokens and STAR are utility tokens. They are not securities, equity, or investment contracts, and they confer no ownership, dividends, revenue share, or guaranteed returns.
