GUIDE FOR USERS
Connect Wallet
Overview
Connecting a wallet links your Starzip account to your self-custodied EVM wallet on the opBNB network. Wallet connection is unified with membership — once connected, you gain access to the full trading experience on Starzip.
Supported Wallets
Starzip supports any standard EVM-compatible wallet. Examples include MetaMask and any WalletConnect-compatible wallet. The wallet must be able to connect to the opBNB network.
opBNB Network
Starzip operates on opBNB, a Layer 2 network built on BNB Chain. Before or during wallet connection, you may need to add and switch to the opBNB network in your wallet. Your wallet will prompt you to approve the network addition if it is not already configured.
- Network: opBNB Mainnet
- Gas token: BNB (used to pay transaction fees)
How to Connect Your Wallet
- Sign in to your Starzip account.
- Navigate to the Membership area or tap the wallet connection prompt when it appears.
- Select your wallet from the list of supported options.
- Approve the connection request in your wallet app.
- Sign a one-time message in your wallet to verify ownership of the address. This is a signature only — no funds are transferred.
- If prompted, add and switch to the opBNB network in your wallet.
- Once the network is confirmed, your wallet is connected. You can now deposit funds and start trading.
Security Guidance
- Always verify you are on the official Starzip domain before connecting your wallet. Phishing sites may mimic the interface to steal your funds.
- Starzip will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Do not share these with anyone.
- Review every signature request carefully. The sign-in message should not request permission to transfer assets.
- After connecting, you can view and manage your connected wallet address from your account settings.
After Connecting
Once your wallet is connected, deposit USDT or USDC into the Starzip settlement contract to begin trading. See the Deposit guide for step-by-step instructions.
